The original front wings on the car were going to need major metal straightening. The entire front ends are sculpted out of thick bondo.
Then I found this pair of NOS reproduction by Tasker on ebay. Quality of fit remains to be seen. But for $125 each it was worth the gamble.As usual with new sheetmetal, there are often some corrections to the
metalwork needing to be done. These new fenders are no exception. Before
even trying to fit them to the car, I've noticed some imperfections
that needed attending to.
The lower edge of the headlight area of this right-side fender had too much radius to the bend. It was much too rounded compared to any originals I've seen. And it was more rounded than the left-side fender from the same vendor.

I didn't have a 'gold-standard' car to compare against, but I decided that this feature line should be tightened up a bit. So a bit of fine tuning with the body hammer was done while I had easier access to the inside area before mounting
