Left side repro wing

 On to the LH fender.

The area around the turn signal was malformed on this fender. After looking at dozens of photos online, I saw a couple more MGBs that were finished with this same malformed spot. So I know that this aftermarket fender was made on inaccurate tooling, not just the example I got. The defect is too obvious for me to let go, so I fixed it.

Because of the excess bulge, there would have been a lot of extra metal to make disappear. The bump needs to be 'shrunk', which is done by heating to red-hot, then tapping down while still red-hot. This shrinks by thickening the metal, and when it cools, it shrinks further from contraction.

Finally, the metal is finish-shaped with hammer and dolly.
