At this point all the significant metal work has been completed. So it's a matter of removing everything from the shell to prepare it for paint. All body panels will be coming back off.
The interior paint was stripped next. All the sheet metal seams were sealed originally with some kind of tar compound, but it was coming off in places and you can't paint over it. The paint and surface in some areas can only be stripped by media blasting, which also is ineffective on this removing this tar. So it was scraped out with heat gun, chisel, and putty knife, then cleaned with mineral spirits and steel wool.
Finally the last of the paint and surface rust has been removed by spot media blasting with crushed glass media.
The underside remains to be stripped, and the body will have to get flipped over for that. But the topside will get a couple coats of epoxy primer first to seal and protect the bare metal from flash rust.
