I had the chance to get a few more panels stripped and prepped for epoxy primer.
The inside of things like the bonnet and doors gets mostly stripped with
aircraft paint stripper but it's hard to get everything off the
contours and in the crevices. So I sandblast these trouble spots. I'm
using a pressure pot blaster with crushed glass media inside a Harbor
Freight 'portable shed'. This contains all the media so I can sweep it
up and re-use it.
Got a coat of epoxy on the bonnet, but the weather looks like it's going
to get bad soon so I took down the 'shed' and put it away - probably
for the remainder of the winter.
